Wednesday 19th February
After such a good sleep and an early coffee we hopped onto a canoe for a ride along some smaller canals.
Sadly plastic pollution was more evident here than in the busier waterways. We loved the birding though. After breakfast our houseboat journey continued.
We had a delicious banana leaf lunch.
We did a walking tour through a village.
There were lots of fresh mussel farmers in the narrower canals.
And we saw lots of duck farms along the way.
Duck was on the menu for dinner too.
We spent another peaceful evening on board.
On Thursday we disembarked by 10am to start our long trek back to SA.
