Saturday 28th to Tuesday 31st March
We spent 2 nights in St. Lucia. Lodge Afrique is a really nice guest house with wonderful tropical gardens.
The weather was rainy and overcast and our evening river cruise had to be cut short due to an electric storm.
On Sunday we took a day trip up to Cape Vidal through the Isimangaliso Wetland Park.
Let's just say that St. Lucia is not party central so you'd better be done eating by 8.30pm.
We drove around town for a few minutes on the way home, looking for the hippos that roam around the suburbs at night.
Monday and Tuesday we stayed in Umhlanga Rocks.
We met up with Mac, Liz and Tracy for dinner.
We did a "tour" of Durban.
Ate curry. Had drinks at the Oyster Box. I guess we all needed a rest day and so it was good to spend a few hours chilling at the hotel.
