We're glad to have Emilia with us to smoothly guide us through the process of queuing for the bus and getting up to Macchu Picchu as effortlessly as possible for our 8am entry.
The weather is photo perfect- not much mist, overcast but with no rain. After a while the crowds thin out and we have a great morning exploring the ruins. We are so happy to have come in the low season. Overtourism is the norm in a 21st century, post- pandemic, Instagramable world and Macchu Picchu has not escaped.
