Friday 7th and Saturday 8th February
Friday was a travel day..a later morning start and a flight from Goa to Delhi.
We are staying at The Lalit in New Delhi.
On Saturday, our travel company arranged a day tour for us. All rather touristy but we did enjoy it.
We visited Jama Masjid.
Back in New Delhi, we visited Ghandi's Rajghat Memorial.
The 16C Humayun's Tomb is one of quite a few Mughal tombs in the a massive garden complex which is a World Heritage Site.
Then it was a lunch of delicious Butter Chicken and Palak Paneer at Pindi.
The Bahai Lotus Temple was very busy being the weekend.
At the "craft market"- a tourist trap of the kind we can easily recognise - we just walked around for a few minutes to keep our guide happy.
Today is a "dry day" (no alcohol served) in Delhi due to local elections so we are chilling with room service tonight.
