Tommy and Mandy have a lovely city flat on the River Liffy in Dublin.
It was a treat to relax at "home" a bit after more than two months of travel. We arrived on Saturday - a huge day- the RWC semifinal between South Africa and England. Oh, my nerves; it was a close win.
We did get out and about in Dublin. There's a lively bar and restaurant scene beyond Temple Bar and Guinness..

On Wednesday we visited Elizabeth and Randolph at their coutryside home in Betaghstown.
On Friday we caught the train down to Cork for the Jazz Festival.
Great fun and lots of music but for us the weekend was focused on the RWC final. The Springboks are back to back Champions with a record 4 RWC wins.
We needed a few days to recover from that after party.
