Europe 2023 : A few days in London

Tuesday 17 to Friday 20 October
Our first trip on the Eurostar and what a pleasant way to travel between Paris and London. Too short a visit as usual and not enough time to spend with family and friends. First stop Cafe Boheme in Soho for a bit of live blues or jazz in the afternoon. It's Neil's favourite bar in London.
Greg organised a great night out; all the places within 50m of our hotel and he didn't even know where we were staying!
Mr.Fogg's, Blacklock and Blame Gloria. All amazing; as was the company of course.
On Wednesday we met Leonie at Colbert, an old French style cafe in Chelsea followed by lunch at another favourite, Noble Rot. We love using busses in London instead of the Tube; a habit that's stuck since our first trip post pandemic. We met Mylene, Coenraad and Helen for dinner at Dishoom, Kings Cross. Thursday we ticked off a few galleries, a few bars and a very nice dinner at Kerridges Grill with Charles and Leonie. Lunch, Musical Theatre and an evening of delicious food and rugby at the Greenfields on Friday. We do need to slow down a bit now.
