Mvuu Camp
Back through Blantyre for shopping at Shoprite. Our camp neighbours at Majete gave us a tip for a discount liquor shop - Trellidor on google maps - in Blantyre so we all stocked up. In Zomba we stopped to refuel and we found that you can only buy fuel in cash in Kwatcha. Luckily ATMs at the local bank dispensed wads of notes.
Liwonde is also managed by African Parks. It's such a beautiful place.
Mvuu Tented Camp is set on the Shire River and campsite guests can use all the facilities.
On Monday we had dinner in the lodge to celebrate Dierdre's birthday.
On Tuesday morning we did a wonderful boat trip on the Shire.
We saw black rhino, lions and cheetah.
Neil had to travel to Johannesburg for a few days for his Mom's funeral; a long journey by boat, car and plane.
