Botswana Camping Trip 2022..Part 5.. Mbudi Camp, Khwai River, Okavango

Thursday 29 September to Saturday 1 October 

Day 13 to 15

We are all pretty good at setting up and breaking camp by now.

We drove through Moremi from South Gate to North Gate.

We stayed three nights at Mbudi Campsite in the Khwai River Conservancy. This is a little piece of paradise in the Okavango and Mbudi is a hidden gem, with lovely sites along the Khwai River.

Before long we were enjoying a picnic with a view. 

Water levels were very high and we had to be careful when doing water crossings.

We found the lions with the three cubs we had seen on our previous trip here in August.  We spent many hours with them over the next few days.

It's just awesome to be one with the wild for a few days.
