GREECE 2026 : TINOS AND HOMEWARD

Tuesday 1 to Thursday 3 September

It's only a 15 minute ferry ride to Tinos from Mykonos.We have been amazed how each island is so distinctive with a different vibe. Tinos is a low key island and most of the tourists are Greek.

We enjoy hanging with the locals and dialing down the excitement levels now that we are homeward bound.

On Wednesday our last ferry ride is to Rafina near Athens airport.

For our last night we stay at the beach in Artemedis, a decidedly more working class beach resort near the airport.

Last drinks with a view.

Last dinner.

Last Greek salad.

Last breakfast of coffee and a pastry.

Loukamades.

Rusks are not only a South African thing.
