Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August
We dropped Greg and Sarah off in Chania and drove to Heraklion to drop off the car.
Our apartment, Rua Augusta is right in the middle of Heraklion old town. We settled in to watch the SA vs NZ rugby on a phone.
Saturday night was busy in the old town. Drinks and people watching. A delicious dinner at Tempelis and late night cocktails.
On Sunday we visited the Venetian Fort. Lunch with a view. Siesta. Drinks and people watching. Dinner at Tempelis again. Early night.
