We hit the ground running; Rina and Rupert arriving just a few hours after us. We settled into our apartment at Patong Loft Condominiums. And it's raining quite a bit. After drinks at home, we were quite hungry, so what do you do in Patong? Head out for burgers in a tuk-tuk after 1.00am.
And follow that up with a drink and dancing in your pj's at Red Hot on Bangla Rd and a 4am bedtime!
On Thursday afternoon, Hanlie and Andrew arrived from South Africa.
Motorbikes sorted and we were out for sunset drinks, dinner at Capri de Rico and drinks and live music at The Dubliner on Bangla!
Nikki and Ranj arrived late on Thursday and on Friday it's still raining on and off. Lunch at Lucky Food World followed by sunset drinks on the beach when the rain clears up.
Ribs and live music at Naughty Nuri's. "Possibly the best ribs in the world!"
Our group kept growing. On Saturday Rob and Tricia joined us to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary at Ka Jok See; Phuket Town. "Definately my favourite party in the world!"
And it's still raining quite a bit.
Another favourite...Sundays at Beach Pig, Bang Tao. Swimming and cocktails. Sunset and a good Sunday roast. Live music by Moody Band. Still crazy after 40 years!
