Friday 4 April to Wednesday 9 April
On Friday we crossed through 5 states to visit Clive and Cherer in Winchester, Virginia. Gotta go out on the town on Friday night! 1.Burgers and beer.
2.Live music at a cute brewery.
3.Drinks at a local with the worst karaoke ever!
On Saturday the dodgy weather was back but we always enjoy chilling at home. Cooking, drinking wine and watching TV with the dogs curled up on the couch.
On Sunday we visited Paul, Elana and Theo in Philadelphia for lunch.
Then it was back to Sandra and Rob's in NJ for the last 2 days. And a few more lunches with friends..Ram and Ranji, Bob and Jane.
On the way to the airport we drove by Watchung, our old NJ neighourhood, so we decided to drive past our old house..Nothing much had changed eventhough it's been 22 years!
On this trip between a train journey, roadtripping and a flight to Nevada, we've been to 21 states.That's more than most Americans do in a lifetime!
Two long haul flights to Johannesburg on Swissair. Neil loves the 28/10 Whisky Bar in the Zurich Airport lounge.
