We were happy to be back in one of our favourite European cities. We stayed in the quirky 25hrs hotel at Gare de Nord, for easy access to the Eurostar.
There are lots of pickpockets around the stations and tourist sites in Paris so you need to be aware of your surroundings. We used Uber rather than the Metro.
Monday
We went straight out to Boullion Chartier for dinner.
Then to Neil's favourite bar in Paris, Le Petit Cafe du Montmarte.
Tuesday
A later start and then we strolled the less touristy and less familiar bits of the 9th and 10th arr.
All roads lead back to Montmarte, Le Petit Cafe and Au Virage Lepic; our favourite bistro in Paris.
Wednesday
Salvador Dali often stayed at Hotel Meurice. They have a a Dali inspired, Phillip Starke designed restaurant, La Dali. We went for lunch. Extra good but ridiculously expensive!
Touristy wandering along the Seine and into the Latin Quarter.
Then an evening watching Wimbledon at The Moose. We've propped up the bar here watching sports over the years!
