Needless to say, it was a slower than expected start to our journey to the Loire Valley. We spent three nights at the lovely Camping Les Chateaux in Bracieux.
It rained all day Wednesday so Neil and I decided to take a rest day.
On Thursday we visited the amazing Chateau Chambord, a Renaissance masterpiece Leonardo Da Vinci inspired, if not actually designed.
We also had a really wonderful dinner at Rendez-Voux des Gourmets that evening. Great food and wine.. that's what France is all about.
