Gueliz, Marrakesh
It's only a few kilometres outside old Marrakesh but the wealthy, modern suburb of Gueliz is worlds away. ( like Sandton vs Joburg ) We visited Jardin Majorelle, Yves Saint Laurent's house and garden. 
After a stroll downtown we had a long lunch at Grand Cafe de la Poste, a French bistro serving wine and excellent food.
We decided to spend the evening in the apartment and toasted sarmies are on the menu.

Our last day in Marrakesh; wandering the old medina.
It rained last night and the air is much clearer now but its much cooler today with a maximum temperature of about 15°C.
We started out at the Museum of Photography, an interesting collection of old photos of Morocco, with a rooftop terrace to enjoy a coffee.
We loved the interior of the 16th Century Madrasa Ben Youseff.
More medina wandering and we were fascinated by the craft workers making leather and metalwork by hand.
We found a great restaurant, Bazaar Cafe for lunch and later we had drinks in the most opulent Palais Dar Si Aissa hotel. Both come highly recommended if you are ever in Marrakesh.
