When you plan to take it really easy but still end up having a fun week..
Music at Hippie Road, Beach Pig, Chill Bar, Jack Rabbit Jims and Jina Cafe.
Luckily we have Sam who can drive us all over the island to see our favourite bands and friends.
And enjoyed our usual massages followed by coffee at Samero's.
Everyday Neil takes photos of the Food Cart outside Samero's. They are hardworking, dedicated to their customers and proud of their little business. Just one example of the millions of self employed people contributing to the economy in Thailand.
The soi (street) dogs in Patong are " looked after " by the locals. My favourite boy spends his days under Samero's awning or on the local guesthouse verandah. People buy him chicken skewers from the food cart. He's quite tubby. He doesn't like having his photo taken though.
We see our other favourite dog all over our neighbourhood..riding like the king but we have only been able to get a shot of him outside the fruit stall.
More rugby in the Aussie Bar on Bangla that starts at 12.40am. A good win against Wales. Well done Bokke! This time Neil felt like a burger at 3am after the game. The smash burgers at Primeburger are really good. And you can get a delivery on the occasional night I persuade Neil to stay in to watch Netflix.
